Picture of me and my siblings, 1973. Bettambang. 

It’s a very rare survival picture of us, taken during my senior year.  This picture was secretly hidden during the Killing Field by my sister. She could be killed if Pol Pot found out. My youngest sister, on the front left, died of starvation, the same as my parents. Over 40 family members were killed or died of starvation during the Pol Pot regime.

I escaped Cambodia with nothing but only 1 set of clothes that I wore!
