Lindsey Keefer is a senior majoring in English at the University of Portland. Her ancestors, one of whom founded the town of Sudbury, Massachusetts, emigrated from Germany and England in the 1600s. Lindsey is passionate about listening to and giving voice to immigrants, whose stories often go unheard. She believes that words are an important catalyst for connecting with other people. She loves cats and reading sci-fi novels, and aspires to become a Young Adult author. After graduation, she hopes to find a career in publishing or editing. As part of her love for writing fiction, she has participated in National Novel Writing Month every year since she was fifteen.
