Jenna Woodring is a junior at Lewis and Clark College, majoring in International Affairs with a speciality in Political Economy and Middle East/North African studies. She comes from a Hispanic household;her mother’s family was one of the first families to immigrate from Mexico to New Mexico. While she has always been interested in immigration policy, she shifted focus after studying migration abroad on the Greek island Lesvos, where she became fueled to write from the perspective of the individual. In her free time, Jenna loves to read and play board games. After graduation, she hopes to work for an immigrant integration program and eventually attend law school to study International Humanitarian Law.
