Zachary Kasper is a senior at Reed College where he studies Comparative Literature with a concentration on film. He will graduate in Spring 2024. He descends from Jewish immigrants who fled from the pogroms in Eastern Europe during the early 1900s and came to the United States. This past semester, Zac studied in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he honed his fluency in Spanish. He is considering several career options after graduation, including a career with nonprofits focusing on human rights issues and going to law school. He has played classical piano for over fifteen years. He loves to watch movies and is currently working on writing his thesis about metafiction in the New Queer Cinema movement of the 1990s.
