It journeyed with me to the US in 1990, and since the it has been my trusted companion throughout my travels around the world. Together, we’ve created magical moments in recordings, solo performances, concertos, chamber music, and celebrated many commissioned world premieres. This pipa has been by my side through both my joyful triumphs and challenging times, and has witnessed my growth in my 35 – year musical career.
