The Immigrant Story, in collaboration with NW Documentary, presents To Bear Witness, a unique collection of five short documentaries portraying the extraordinary lives of seven survivors of the Holocaust, genocide and atrocities of war. These stories are told in the first person,  personalizing their compelling narratives and offering powerful testimonies to survival.  This anthology of five  short stories reveals some of the emotional costs of the search for a peaceful home.

At the conclusion of the movie presentation, Sankar Raman, president and founder of The Immigrant Story, will moderate a panel discussion. Panelists will include two of the storytellers from the movie, Emmanuel Turaturanye from Rwanda and Saron Khut from Cambodia, along with Elizabeth Mehren, a celebrated author and The Immigrant story writer who has been documenting the testimonies of many survivors. The audience will also have an opportunity to ask questions.

The movie plus the talkback will run for two hours. Tickets are $10. For ticket information please see here.
